When this couple moved into their 1960s Colonial-style home nestled in a quiet, wooded neighborhood, they quickly realized that the original 70-square-foot primary bathroom on the second floor was no longer sufficient for their needs. Seeking a more spacious, luxurious, and functional space that would serve as a spa-like retreat, they enlisted professional help to reimagine and expand the bathroom while respecting the home’s traditional architectural style.

Although the existing windows were retained in their original locations to maintain the home’s exterior character, the interior underwent a dramatic change.
